Mr. Wolf – Album Launch

Aces & Eights, NW5 2HP , [Venue Details]

Nursery Rhymes For The End Of Times

Friday,
8 May 2026
@8.00pm

Mr. Wolf is a new group project from north london singer-songwriter Matthew Neel, here reunited with bandmates Luke Brighty (The Blessing, Mark Knopfler) and Ricky Barber (Bleach Music, The Crypt Studios) from his 2010 debut album “New Maps Of Hell”, with the addition of Ali Milne-Tyte (Eversholt, Joanna And The Wolf) on mandolin and Gaeton Allard (Oh My God It’s The Church, Solar Parachute) on drums and percussion. The band sound was forged during after-hours jam sessions at Matthew’s cafe in Tufnell Park during and after the second lockdown, coalescing from a rotating cast of musicians including White Lies’ Charles Cave. The resulting album NurseryRhymesForTheEndOfTimes is an atmospheric, left field take on bluesy Americana, given a fresh spin with elements of dark folk and gypsy jazz.
